For the first week I wanted to mainly focus on conditioning my body and seeing where I am at on a physical stand point. So I thought to myself and questioned what I should do for the first week. Every week I want to set an activity for myself to do to keep things interesting and mixed up so that I will not get bored with what I am doing by being stuck in a continues cycle.
For the first week I decided that I would work out four mornings before school, but my original plans got cut short. At first I decided to go with four mornings that I would work out so that I wouldn't over work my body and that it would also have time to rest in between the days that I do work out, and one day during the week I would do the activity that I have planned before hand so I could really see where I am at. I planned for these four days to work out being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Monday went alright even though I didn't wont to wake up earlier than I had to but I rowed 2,000 meters on my rowing machine in around seven minutes. Tuesday I was up all night with a virus that I probably received from school so I did not work out that morning. Wednesday morning I was feeling better but took it easy and only rowed 1,500 meter around seven minutes. The last morning that I would row is Friday and on this morning I rowed around 2,000 meters in about six and a half minutes. Throughout week one I planned on mountain biking five miles at a constant pace to see how long it would take me. I tracked this workout on my watch and was able to complete the goal at around twenty seven minutes. These are also the same trails that I am going to try and run in under eight minutes. (See picture above for description of workout)
